June 1944
Mission Summaries > June 1944
June, 1944 - The long awaited invasion of the Continent has finally happened. Prior to this the Normandie section of the French coast had been avoided in the hopes of convincing the Germans that the attack will come across the Pas-de-Calais. That, combined with the dummy army created for Gen. George Patton, led the Germans to believe the real invasion was still to come after the initial assaults on June 6th, 1944.
