Air raids on occupied airfields in Belgium and France is the start of August's operations. Aviation industry in Schwerin and Dessau are heavily bombed and napalm (jellied gasoline) and 1 ton blockbusters are used against German coastal defenses on the island of St. Malo. Strikes continue against the V-1 rocket launch sites that are hitting the harbor area where supplies, weapons and men are pouring into the fight.
